Angel came to SoundView because she’s fascinated by how people relate to money — less the numbers and more the stories behind them. She’s studying financial psychology because she wants people to feel confident and in control, to use money as a tool that serves their life instead of something that quietly rules it. Curiosity drives her work; she supports our advisors and the people we serve in practical, patient, and personal ways.
Born and raised in Colorado Springs, she spent about a decade in Denver before moving to Seattle a few years ago. She was drawn west by the PNW’s mountains, waterways, and ready access to wild places. At home, Angel and her partner Jeff are self-proclaimed foodies: they cook together, savor a good bottle of wine, and cap the evening with a favorite movie.
At work, she’s the person who “makes moves and gets things done.” An operational executor by nature, Angel notices loose ends and ties them up before anyone asks. Calm, exacting, and quietly relentless about follow-through, she manages communications, meeting coordination, document preparation, and the everyday details that make service feel seamless and dependable.
For Kevin Slater, Angel keeps the behind-the-scenes work moving smoothly—scheduling, prep, and problem-solving that let him concentrate on clients and big-picture decisions. Her work creates space: fewer headaches, clearer priorities, better service.
